In looking for a News article on Imam Hassan A. Amin,
no where to be found. I hadn't mentioned his arrival to Habibi
Matrimonials, rather I had in our monthly e-mails. I didn't really think
beyond Imam Hassan Amin that I would see other Imams join. It was just
that I caught him accepting an invitation to connect on Linkedin that I
soon after invited him to join Habibi Matrimonials.
Imam Hassan A. Amin also was the first to give glowing references for Habibi via Linkedin which can be seen on our home page for Habibi Matrimonials. Tiny things like this helped us gain quality sponsors which gave us more free advertising.
Imam Hassan Amin is owner of a very cool cause called Muslim Social Services Agency in Baltimore, MD. The Muslim Social Services Agency’s (MSSA) mission is to provide care, resources and services to those in need. They promote self-sufficiency, social well-being and assistance programs to low income, disadvantaged individuals and families. They also provide resources, aid and comfort to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Some of the many initiatives like Disaster Relief Training/Emergency/First Aid to the low income population, Safe Haven Program. Safe Haven is designed to give victims of domestic violence a safe and fresh start of life without their abuser. The Mo’ Money Project’s primary focus on the low income, working poor college student. Each month for one hour per week twenty students will attend a financial literacy class. Each class would focus on a particular financial area such as saving, debt management, credit, budgeting, etc. After the students have completed the month long classes they would have the options of putting into practice the financial skills they had learned in their classes. They would deposit $25. in a deposit only account for at least six months. The Mo’ Money Project would add an additional $75. to the same account per month. At the end of a six month period the $600.00 in the account will only be used by the students towards their college tuition, books or college fees.
